An Extended Vacation to Asia
If you are planning to get away somewhere for any time longer than three weeks, then might I mention the exotic and out of your comfort zone place of Asia. Traveling for a month with your Samsonite luggage set in a continent where almost no one speaks your language can be invigorating with an adventure at every turn. Whether it is an adventure of new cuisine or scaling the Great Wall of China and feeling like you are a tiny part in a vast civilization, you will find many experiences that you’ll remember for quite some time.
Perhaps the thing that most surprises you is that the Chinese man next to you is also carrying Samsonite luggage and drinking a coke on his way to the airport in Beijing. Asia has become a much less mysterious continent in the last couple decades and we can no longer call them the far east anymore. So if you have some time on your hands, visit Asia with your Gustbuster umbrellas and your Macbooks and bask in the similarities and differences that exist between cultures. When you come back to this country, you will appreciate so much more and you might not like how some things are done here anymore.
